Looking kitchen assistant for a friendly, family run traditional Japanese restaurant, based in Camden Town, within 3min walk from the tube station.
experience not required(no problem even if you have never held a knife before!),
just need to be eager to learn and curious about the Japanese culture.
Ability to speak Japanese is desired but not essential.
Shift will be Monday to Saturday 2-6 evenings a week (close on Sunday and bank holidays), from 4:30pm to 10pm. May need to finish late for cleaning up sometimes but overtime will be paid for
This would be a good opportunity to:
-learn more about the Japanese culture
-learn to cook traditional Japanese cuisine
-try to learn the Japanese language
Salary will be dependent on experience and ability to learn, looking for someone who is looking for long term progression.
