The Larder is an award-winning collection of four unique East London venues, each with a large and growing customer following in their local areas based on our consistent quality of coffee, food and service.
Our reputation amongst local diners is strong and we enter our tenth year of operation looking to grow further with a new location coming soon. For this we need to strengthen our kitchen team with a committed and energetic kitchen assistant who is looking to further their career and move to a commis chef role within 12 months. You will have at least 12 months experience in a busy kitchen.
The pay rate is £8.00 per hour, with a pay rise after 6 months for strong performers. We open occasionally in the evenings for private bookings but the role is mostly day time shifts, 8.30am to 5pm.
We require someone to perform traditional kitchen porter duties as well as help the chef team with prep work. The Larder uses only fresh ingredients and we have no Fryer. Our home-cooked style is what sets us apart.
