Role : The Kitchen Porter at Makiyaki is an important role within the kitchen, ensuring that everything is neat and tidy back of house, whilst also making sure the kitchen runs smoothly at all times - completing various tasks such as replenishment of stock, cleaning pots, crockery and cutlery and other duties requested by the Senior Chef on duty.

Day to Day Duties:
•Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and/or pans using dishwashers or by hand.
•Place clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment in storage areas.
•Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in clean and orderly condition.
•Stock supplies such as food and utensils in serving stations, cupboards and refrigerators.
•Sweep and scrub floors
•Clean rubbish bins with water or steam
•Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas.
•Clean and prepare various foods for cooking or serving.
•Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas, by hand or using hand trucks.
•Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
