KITCHEN AND FLOOR STAFF - FULL/PART TIME - PERMANENT
15/35 + hours per week, 3/5 days a week
£9 + an hour plus tips
LOVENbakery is a new café/bakery/deli/wine bar opening soon in Hale Village. We are looking for Kitchen and Floor staff in all positions and at all levels to help us a build a great team to start a great project. We are particularly interested in people who consider themselves professionals in hospitality and therefore have a professional attitude towards the job. People with skills and experience of working with the public; as part of a team (but with the capacity to think for themselves) can work well and problem solve under pressure; are friendly, positive and enthusiastic.
KITCHEN STAFF - DUTIES depending on role.
- Daily preparation and 'mise en place' for service
- Baking bread, pastries, cakes and focaccia style pizza
- Making salads and main courses
- Organizing and controlling stock and efficient storage
- Working as part of a team to ensure an efficient service and high quality food.
- Adhering to food hygiene and food safety regulations in terms of appearance, practice and discipline.
KITCHEN STAFF - QUALITIES AND SKILLS Kitchen
- Enthusiasm and a friendly positive attitude
- Open minded and willing to learn
- Hardworking, punctual and reliable
- Understanding of English and/or Italian is a bonus but not essential.
FLOOR STAFF - DUTIES
- Opening/setting up and closing the cafe.
- Meeting and greeting customers, taking orders,
- Making/serving coffees and drinks including serving wine to the table (ability to make cocktails and barista style coffee is a plus but not essential)
- Serving food and working on the pass with the kitchen staff to ensure a smooth and efficient service.
- Answering the phone and taking reservations and orders for collection.
- Generally ensuring a room full of happy people.
- Adhering to food hygiene and food safety regulations in terms of appearance, practice and discipline.
FLOOR STAFF - QUALITIES AND SKILLS
- A friendly and positive attitude, with excellent interpersonal skills
- experience of working with the public in a hospitality environment.
- experience working on a simple pos system.
- Reliable and with a good sense of organization.
- Capacity to adapt and multi-task in a fast paced environment
- Great level of English.
- Willingness to learn and develop within the role.

Loven is an independent neighborhood food business, We have been operating in the area for 4 years and opened our current space Loven presents, a pizzeria, bar and art space close to Seven Sisters tube station in December 2021. Loven bakery is our new venue in Tottenham Hale. We are English/Italian partnership with a team from all over the world. We are friendly, relaxed but hardworking group with a belief in providing high quality food and a fantastic experience.
