Dose is the cafe in Google's Campus London, in Bonhill St, Shoredtich. We're looking for someone to primarily assist the chef in food preparation for 2-3 days and also to be available for events in the evenings and occasional cafe shifts, too.
Barista training will be offered and front-of-house work available.
Basically, we need an enthusiastic, well presented person who's handy in the kitchen and likes to do different things, not just dridge away in the kitchen.
Hours are variable but at least 30 per week and in busy times, lots of events work, too.
Mostly daytime hours and sociable, too, Kitchen shifts will usually be 0730-1400 and events work rarely finishes later than 11pm.
Events work consists mainly of serving drinks and sometimes food preparation and display.
You'll be offered a contract with a guaranteed minimum of hours and full holiday entitlement.
Minimum requirements are:
-good spoken and written English
-legal right to work in the UK (students with a 20-hour work limit will be considered)
-good work ethic, punctual and reliable; and references to back that up
-at least basic experience in kitchens and cafe/restaurant front-of-house
-an eye for detail and creativity
-flexibility to do event work in the evenings (as mentioned, this varies a lot)
