Kind, experienced, well-organised, well-educated, mature, female live-in carer/companion wanted to join friendly team, caring for pleasantly confused, gentle, elderly lady in leafy Richmond/Twickenham area of South London. Non-smoker. Generous pay, working with friendly family. No pets. Own room in comfortable house. Alternating two-week (14 day) shifts normally preferred; other live in care options available, including occasional relief work. Reliability and Flexibility are essential.
For this live in position, we offer starting pay of approximately. £1,600 for each two week (14 day) shift, rising to £1,700-£1,800 + per two-week shift, following satisfactory completion of a probation period. You must be eligible to work in the UK, and have a valid National Insurance Number. You may choose to work as a salaried employee (Paye), or on a self-employed freelance basis. If you choose to work freelance, then you must hold Carer's insurance, and you must have verified self-employed status with HMRC.
Because this position requires maturity and experience, only applicants over the age of 45 will be considered. Recent Enhanced CRB/DBS check desirable, but can be arranged for you if yours is more than 6 months old. Applicants must have verified experience of moving/handling, and dealing with pleasant confusion/dementia as a live-in carer. Fluent English Essential. Nursing/Medical experience is advantageous but not essential. Preference is normally given to applicants who live reasonably local to the Richmond/Twickenham area, but we are also happy to review experienced applicants from outside of this area.
