Kaffeine is an independent, Australian owned café with 2 locations in Fitzrovia in central London that is recruiting for experienced service staff for to work primarily at our original Great Titchfield Street store. This is a great opportunity for anyone who wishes to further their career in the specialty coffee industry or those who just wish work in a quality led establishment and be able to make their mark.
With the original store open for 8 years and the new store open for 3 years, we are regarded as being one of the best cafes in the UK and our intention is for this to long continue.
We are recruiting for service staff to work on the front section, people who perhaps have a fantastic desire to work in specialty coffee and one day be a barista, but who do not yet have the required experience, or those who perhaps wish to open their own coffee shop one day or have been working in bars or restaurants or hotels and wish for a change.
Our standards are very high and we recruit people who want to be involved in a company with structure, organisation, clear goals and standards with close contact to the Director and a fun working environment.
Service Staff will be able to:
- Demonstrate and prove their experience in fast paced hospitality service environments.
- Demonstrate a natural desire and affinity to providing genuine hospitality.
- Be very fast, efficient, clean and work very well under continuous pressure.
- Be available to approximately 45 hours per week including some but not all Saturdays and Sundays.
Previous employees have left Kaffeine on good terms and have furthered their careers by opening or managing their own stores, being successful in coffee competitions, opening coffee events businesses and even founded their own dairy to supply London cafes with milk. Service staff have moved up over time from their original positions to being managers of the store.
A very competitive rate of pay is on offer with an average 45 hours per week, as well as working alongside a determined, passionate and professional team with excellent working conditions in a reputable establishment on some of the best equipment.
