We are looking for a Sales Consultant selling in the Promotional Merchandise sector. We are a small company and we offer a full-time job with excellent career progression opportunities.

Salary: £14,500 + sales commission
The Role:
The Sales Consultant will be responsible for new Business Development opportunities and finding new accounts by proactively prospecting new clients and attending meetings. Focusing on small-to-medium enterprise markets. Sales Consultant will be selling Promotional Merchandise e.g. Pens (Parker, Waterman), key rings, USB drivers, corporate gifting, gifts with purchase. You will be pitching to key decision makers and interacting with specifies in Promotional Merchandise. The Sales Consultant will need to be prepared to build a strong client base by generating your own leads to maximize revenue.
The Candidate:
The ideal Sales Consultant candidate will have previous experience [six mouths to one year ] in sales. You must have a hunger for new business and want to progress to become the manager of your own team. You must be incredibly self-motivated and have a track record of consistently exceeding targets within the commercial sector. The Sales Consultant be customer focused with a clear drive for success, uphold excellent communication skills and good telephone etiquette. It is vital to build lasting relationships with your customers in order to retain and maximize revenue opportunities.
The sales consultant is responsible for generating sales opportunities through a variety of techniques.
• Generating leads and turning them into opportunities for sales.
• Contacting potential customers via telephone, email and face to face.
• Working to KPI’s and revenue targets as set by the sales director.
• Arranging meetings with prospects in order to demonstrate products.
• Negotiating prices with potential customers and closing sales.
• Identifying opportunities for new business within the market.
• Paying attention to competitors and their activities within the industry.
• Building long term relationships with new and existing customers.
• Ensuring all administration relating to sales is completed effectively.
• Working closely with other departments and finding opportunities to cross sell.
