Applied Nanodetectors is an award winning SME developing sensors for medical devices based in Enfield (EN3 7XU).
We are looking for a part time office administrator to work Mondays to Fridays from 9.30 to 1.30, although there is some flexibility with days and hours. We are looking for a highly motivated individual, an independent, self-motivated worker, who is well organised and self-confident.
Duties include:
• Manage day to day office administration, including answering phone, emails and post
• Ordering equipment and general maintenance of the office
• Attending meetings and taking notes
• Maintaining staff records with regards to employee personal details, salaries, holiday entitlement, holiday days taken and sick days taken
• Processing and paying on a monthly basis and within deadline to the Inland Revenue any Paye and NI contributions due
• Processing and distributing, as appropriate, at tax year end, forms P35, P60 etc. In compliance with Inland Revenue requirements and deadlines
• Manage daily accounts and book keeping, VAT return, general filling as well as assist with any ad-hoc duties
Skills:
• Good knowledge of Microsoft office, in particular excel, word and outlook
• Fluently English - spoken and written
• Good numeracy skills
Salary: £16,000 gross pro rata (50% of FTE)
