We are looking for a live-in Junior Nanny/Housekeeper to join us at our home in Twickenham starting September 1st to look after our two girls aged 2 and 4.  Details of the role are:
Hours
Monday 7:30-6:30
Tuesday 7:30-9 (or earlier if evening work not needed)
Wednesday 7:30-1:30
Thursday 7:30-6:30
Friday Off
Work outside these hours will be paid on £10/hour and confirmed based on availability first.
Job Duties - Main

Get children dressed and ready for school and take to/from school daily.
Take children to various activities such as swimming, ballet, piano.
Prepare lunch and dinner for children during working hours.
Keep children safe, engaged and entertained whilst in care through activities like games, playdates, walks, reading and so forth.
Change the girls’ bedding and wash weekly, wash the girls’ clothing weekly.
Keep kitchen regularly clean
Dust, Vacuum, clean floors, clean bathrooms once weekly.
Ironing 1/week

Secondary

Organise and tidy girls’ Toys and bedroom as needed.
Dust shutters, light fittings etc 1/month.
Help with groceries, Ocado or quick run to the shop.
Clean Oven 1/month
Clean Internal Windows 1/month

About us:  We are an international family with Mum coming from Canada and Dad from New Zealand.  We work in architecture and software with Mum often working from home.  Generally, we are very laid back, weekend warriors with the kids and also avid social drinkers.  We have a 7 year old Chocolate Labrador who loves a cuddle and barking at people coming to the door.  Mum loves cooking lovely meals but is also human and sometimes Settles for eggs on toast.
The type of person we are looking for would also be laid back yet able to discipline the kids when needed.  Someone who is very clean and organised with the kids’ activities and can recognise and lend a hand on extra tasks throughout the day – for example, popping to the shop after the school run to grab milk.  Preferences also include someone who speaks French and has a valid driver’s license, though the latter is not needed as you can walk or bus everywhere in Twickenham.  International applicants are welcome provided you have a valid visa (working holiday visa is fine).  References are also required.
Remuneration will be £1100 per month, all room and board, phone or contribution to your own phone plan and a gym pass.  You will have your own room with a double bed, dresser, wardrobe and TV; bathroom is shared with the girls.  You are welcome to have guests come over at any time provided they are good with kids and dogs.
We are looking for a 1 year commitment; the hours will change in September 2022 but the role still available.
