Roehampton Club is London’s premier private members multi sport club, offering a wide range of sports including golf, tennis, Health Club, squash and a full catering provision, delivered to the highest standards. We also offer Members and their Guests a program of social events, sports competitions and coaching.
Job Purpose:
The position of Junior Activities Coordinator/Receptionist is important to ensure the Club offers varied and exciting activities and events with a high level of service to members.
Responsibilities:

-Reporting to the Junior Activities Manager you will be required to fulfill a variety of roles within the facility throughout a working day. Shift work over the weekend and bank holidays and same half terms.
Key Responsibilities
• To be the centre point for all Junior activities and events within the Club.
• Work with the events team to promote all Junior Scene Events.
• Run regular organised and ad hoc activities / events for Junior members.
• Ensure the smooth operation of all kids camp activities, providing guidance and leadership to the departmental staff.
• To lead Junior development work, including the coordination of Junior development plans for the future of the Club.
• Ensure the appropriate policies and guidelines are in place for Junior Members and those working with Juniors.
• Manage problems and issues arising from the Junior section of the Club’s membership.
• Generate and update all junior Club web site and social media activities.
• Keep knowledge up to date and always look to develop understanding in other areas of exercise.
• Ensuring that all child protection and health and safety issues within the workplace are considered and where necessary procedures implemented and enforced.
• Cover reception. Dealing with enquiries by both phone and in person.
• Ensure members, guest and staff, observe club rules and enforce them where necessary.
• Taking bookings for all sporting activities.

• Previous experience of working with children in a similar role
• Team player
• Enthusiastic
• Good communication skills
• Smart appearance
• Punctual
• Good general IT skills
Desirable requirements:
• MUST live within close proximity of SW15
• £7.5ph, Uniform will be provided.
