The Role:
This position provides financial information by maintaining and reconciling accounts; preparing reports in supporting the Accounting Manager, Chief Finance Officer and Corporate Office have a better understanding companies financials (European Market).
Job Duties:
• Maintains financial records for subsidiary companies by analysing balance sheets and general ledger accounts.
• Reconciles general and subsidiary bank accounts by gathering and balancing information.
• Provides financial status information by preparing special reports; completing special projects.
• Corrects errors by posting adjusting journal entries.
• Prepares and distributes vendor payments.
• Maintains general ledger accounts by reconciling accounts receivable detail and control accounts; adjusting entries for amortisations pre-paids; analysing and reconciling retainage and accounts payable ledgers; preparing fixed asset depreciation and accruals.
• Secures financial information by completing database backups; keeping information confidential.
• Maintains accounting controls by following policies and procedures; complying with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications.
• Accomplishes accounting and organisation mission by completing related results as needed.
Required Skills and Qualities:
• Must demonstrate a high numerical skills, in accountancy capacity
• Be deadline oriented
• Previous catering, hospitality or customer service based experience is advantageous
• Be able to demonstrate a high level of reporting skills
• Must have a good eye for attention to detail in all tasks

• Be thorough, and be quality focused
• Be flexible in working approach
• Team player, whilst having full capacity to work alone
• Have strong communication and relationship skills to build rapport with senior stakeholders and external parties.
