Joinery Workshop Assistant in London

Joinery Workshop assistant job - available for an immediate start for the right candidate.
This job involves assisting our Joiners, finishers and glaziers with the manufacturing and assembling, glazing and finishing of high quality bespoke timber windows and doors.
Other duties may include assisting our installers with the onsite installation of high quality timber windows and doors.
The job will include cleaning tidying of our workshops keeping walkways clear to help keep production flowing in an orderly efficient manor
The job will involve lifting glass and wood frames and loading and unloading deliveries.
Must have at least 2 years of experience of working with hand tools ideally experience working with wood whether this be in joinery workshop or an associated field such as furniture manufacturing/finishing.
This job will mainly be based in our workshops in Mitcham combined with onsite work assisting with the installation of windows and doors too when required.
A Folk lift licence would be an advantage.
A driving licence would be an advantage.
Good level of communication in the English language.
We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate that has good attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
This is a full time Paye position.
Hours of work: 8am - 4.30 pm 5 days a week - 37.5 hrs per week (excluding breaks).
Wage Details:
Starting basic salary up to £16,650.00 gross per annum (£8.51 per hour gross) dependent on skills/experience.
Plus Overtime, on week days (x1.25 = up to £10.63 per hour) and Saturdays (x1.5= up to £12.77 per hour) when available and authorised*
Plus profit related bonus*
Plus work place pension contribution*
*qualifying period applies.
Salary paid monthly in arrears.
28 days paid holidays per annum (including 8 bank holidays). Qualifying period applies.
This job is based at our workshops in Mitcham CR4 4 Human Resources. Please take travel time into consideration when applying.
