We are looking for an enthusiastic, hard working and committed individual to join our small team of carpenters and furniture makers. You would be an assistant to our experienced Joiners and Furniture makers, assisting them with the manufacturing of our furniture products, collating and preparing furniture and materials for installations and occasionally assisting with the on-site fitting and installations. You must be enthusiastic, committed and willing to listen, observe, work hard and be able to represent our brand and business. There is the potential to learn the trade of furniture making with potential other opportunities in the future, for the right candidate.
Job Description:
Learning how to prepare, sand and spray finish wooden products
Keeping the workshop tidy and clean
Assisting the experienced joiners
Assisting with on-site installations
Wrapping and packing
Demonstrate commitment to excellent customer service by being polite, showing respect for property, maintaining expected standards of work and ensuring workspace is kept tidy
Undertake Health and Safety training as required
Follow Health and Safety policy and procedures including the wearing of personal protective equipment (PPE) when necessary.
