We are looking for a sales oriented individual (this time we look only for male candidates because the nature of the job require heavy lifting) if possible with some food handling and kitchen experience, to work Friday to Sunday at the South Bank Market. This job is for a minimum of 35 hours a week and you will be asked to work at the market in South Bank, or in our warehouse and shop in Croydon if we need you there.
Pay starts at £8 an hour plus a daily bonus if the stall/shop hit the daily target. The bonus can push the pay up to £12 per hour. We have full-time and part-time positions available.
Job duties;
• Food preparation (must have experience in using knives, chopping vegetables very quickly!)
• Cleaning
• Serving customers (must be fluent in English)
• Handling money
• Loading and unloading van
Must have:
• experience in working in food market, coffee shops, bar, restaurants or pubs
• Fluent in English and some knowledge of Italian language and food
• Must be honest and reliable person
Would be an advantage:
• Italian native or some knowledge of Italian food and language
• Hold a hygiene and food certificate
• Would be advantageous to live in South London
• experience in dealing with money
• Driving Licence
