The Plough Way Deli is a local Italian  in Surrey Quays, South East London. We are looking for  experienced Deli shop assistant  and Barista . The Plough Way Deli have freshly made coffees and small bites, production and sale of fresh products like pasta as well as sale of artisan coffees, wines and a wide selection of other deli products, primarily from Italy.we are open from 7am to 9pm, 7 days a week. The deli is the latest addition to a small group of local restaurants, so the team  will have a supporting group around them to work closely with and to progres in they career.
We are looking for:
Deli Shop Assistant / Barista
The right person will have a genuine passion for  food and produce of high quality, and have both knowledge and interest in Italian food, products and culture.
These are some of the key skills that will be required:

Excellent customer service skills with an ability to anticipate customer needs.
A friendly manner with excellent relationship building skills.
An enthusiastic outlook, a can-do attitude and overall positive energy.
A proven ability to multi-task
Detail oriented
A strong work ethic and sense of responsibility.
Basic Food preparation Skills (using a knife, washing salad)
Basic use of coffee machine (more training will be given)
experience in working behind the counter of a fast paced environmet.

Working days will be on a rotational basis 5 days a week, including weekends when the we anticipate the deli to be busier. We are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible.
