Job Requirements for IT Support/Administrator
We are a property development and management company based in croydon, we work along with regional and national government , local authorities and housing associations. And we currently looking for a full time IT Support/Administrator to help us build and maintain our IT infrastructure in our offices situated in and around croydon.
Job Role requires responsibility for running/maintaining/configuration of workstations and Networks. Installing and configuring computer hardware operating systems and applications. Supports, monitors, tests, and troubleshoots hardware and software problems pertaining to LAN. Recommends and schedules repairs. Provides end users support for all LAN based applications. Installs and configures workstations Perform daily system monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks. Troubleshooting system and network problems and diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults, replacing parts as and when required.
Must have good experience in working with windows 2008 R2/2012 environment, and performing all the necessary routine jobs and basic knowledge in LAN and WAN networks, Cisco, switches and routers, VPN configuration and troubleshooting.
Must have experience and good knowledge on Installing/configuring and maintaining CCTV DVR/Cameras/devices and DVR/NVR networks.
Certifications in Microsoft. (MCSA, MCITP) and Cisco certifications preferred.
Will also consider experience and knowledge in CMS (joomla, Wordpress), basic HTML, asp net and Java and knowledge in database design, development and maintaining and managing databases.(MySQL MSSQL preferred). Understand and develop sources of traffic ( and the factors that influence it): email, SEO, affiliates, social media, catalogues etc.
Working continuously on a task until completion, Defines and documents system, and assists with operational policies and procedures.
