Awaiting Eyes Foundation is a U.K registered charity (No: 1117222) that helps orphan children overseas by providing them with basic necessities.
We are looking for enthusiastic INTERIOR DESIGNER, Volunteer
The job will consist of:
• Meeting clients to discuss their requirements and ideas
• Developing designs to suit clients' needs, their budget and the type of building
• Preparing initial sketches for the client to approve
• Advising on colour schemes, fabrics, fittings and furniture
• Working out costs and preparing estimates
• Creating detailed drawings from the initial sketches, usually on a computer
• Finding fittings, furniture, fabrics, and wall and floor coverings.
• MANDATORY FUNDRAISING AT LEAST ONCE A WEEK
Please note this is a voluntary unpaid role, we work from 9AM to 5PM, Monday to Friday except on public holiday.
No previous experience is required as full training would be provided.
In return, volunteers / trainees often gain experience of an office environment, and learn new skills or develop existing ones.
We offer excellent references after successful completion of project work.
