Kent law firm are looking for an insurance claims recovery handler to work at their Hayes office near Bromley.
A road traffic accident has occurred, the policyholder's vehicle has been booked in for repairs and the file is then sent to the law firm to recover the amount of repairs from the other driver's insurer. Applicants are required to have experience in dealing with insurance claims. Duties will include:
" Assessing liability
" Setting up new cases
" Answering phones
" Drafting letters
" Applying for DVLA's and Police Report
" Requesting MID searches
" Liaising with instructing insurer
" Liaising with third party insurers
" Communicating with the policyholder/client
" Entering into liability conversations
" Negotiating liability
" Negotiating quantum
" Keeping up to date on daily tasks and diary entries
" Collating evidence
" Chasing payments
" Reviewing police reports/CCTV footage
The role will be full-time permanent and salary will be 13k-15 depending on experience.
