Then this could be your next role. We are looking for an energetic and engaging individual to join our team as an Installer/ Collector.
We are a leading UK manufacturer and supplier of clinical beds, pressure mattresses, treatment furniture and other supportive medical products to the social care industry, NHS, Private Hospitals, Care and Nursing home and distributors across the UK. Further to our recent acquisition and reallocation of contracts within the Southern region, we are looking to recruit an Installer/ Collector on a full-time basis to work within the Service team based at our Orpington Service Centre.
As the Installer/Collector, you will load the van to deliver products and also collect the products to be returned, providing our customers with an excellent level of service. The role involves a lot of manual activities so the successful candidate will need to be able to bend, lift and carry and work at floor level. The role will also involve product cleaning and decontamination of the equipment that has been returned.
Driving is a major part of the role, so good driving skills and attention to detail is required. The role can be emotional and stressful as you are dealing with patients who are ill and family members that are under considerable strain. The environment and working conditions can vary, as you will be going into private homes.
Due to the nature of this role, all applicants are subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS, formerly CRB) check.
Hours of work are Monday to Friday 08.30am to 17.00pm; the candidate must have a flexible outlook on hours to be worked as there will be a requirement to work the on call Rota.
To be successful in this role, candidates must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and high standards of personal appearance and hygiene; any similar work experience would be beneficial.

Essential Criteria:
* A reasonable level of fitness and mobility.
* Good standards of hygiene and appearance.
* The ability to deal with, and anticipate problems.
* Full driving Licence.
Desirable Criteria:
* Install and collection experience within a health care environment e.g. Hospital beds and medical products.
