A family of 3 in St. Albans are looking for a French speaking Afterschool Live Out Nanny to look after their lovely toddler. The Afterschool Nanny must be active, energetic and bubbly, as the child is very energetic and loves playing and going to the park.
The working hours for this job would be Monday to Thursday, approximately 30 hours per week and some occasional babysitting during the week. During school holidays, the Afterschool Nanny will be required to work more hours.
The responsibilities of the Afterschool Nanny will be
cooking healthy meals for the child,
helping with learning,
planning playdates,
trips to the park and playgrounds,
planning age appropriate activities,
arts and crafts,
messy play,
getting the child ready for bed by bathing the child,
brushing teeth and getting the child into pyjamas before the parents get home.
The Nanny will need to do some light nursery duties such as
laundry,
cleaning up after the meals,
ensuring Toys are organised and play areas are tidy.
Speaking French to the child is a necessity to improve the child's understanding and communication skills using the language. Family is looking for a candidate who’s looking for a long term position and if the Nanny wants more hours, family is happy to offer some mornings during the week as well as extra babysitting.
The family is ideally looking for someone who can drive but not required. They also own a cat so someone who loves pets would be appreciated. This is going to be sole charge as the parents both work full time and the family would need someone to start in September but the family is flexible with an early start for the right candidate.
