Information Security Manager - Brentwood - 100K
Our client is a FTSE 250 financial services organisation with a revenue of 3.6billion that is going through a large transformation and as such is an exciting time to join the business. Our client is currently looking to recruit an Information Security Manager to manage, supervise and direct IT Security.
This role will be based 2 days a week in Brentwood, 1 day in London and 2 days from home.
The ideal candidate will be a technical SME, and be able to advise, consult and help write technical frameworks. Candidates must be CISP certified and have previously worked within financial services.
Responsibilities:
* Ensure an appropriate Cyber Security Strategy and Technology Risk Strategy is maintained which meets risk appetite.
* Manage the development and implementation of policies, processes, and guidelines related to IT security
* Oversee the management and reporting of Cyber Security and technology risks, including risk assessments on applications, vendors, processes and projects
* Act as the senior incident manager for high severity incidents (Cyber).
* A key member of the CIO office Management team. Acting as a leader and mentor. Contributing towards the IT Strategy.
