Inflight food packing operative/ quality controller
We are currently recruiting for an Inflight food packing operative to be part of the team at our Inflight Kitchen in Wandsworth. You will be responsible for checking kitchen production meets our high standards, packing our catering so that it arrives safely at its destination and dispatching to our team of drivers. You will also be required to liaise with the Operations team to ensure logistics are planned correctly and assist with the concierge side of our business.
Responsibility for the implementation of Food Safety and Health and Safety policies will lie with the role holder and you will take a “hands-on” approach in assisting with, monitoring and overseeing all production, stock and operational kitchen related concerns. You will also be involved in purchasing and deliveries where necessary. Full training for these functions will be given as part of the induction process.
Since we work with private and corporate jets and run a 24/7 hour operation, we require flexibility regarding hours. Shifts are based on 8.5 hours a day and are planned in a Rota in advance. The early shift can start anywhere between 0000 and 0600 and the late shift is from 1230 to 2100 and will include weekend work. This is a hospitality role that may require longer hours on occasion to meet our client’s requests.
