A successful and growing family owned company in North London (Manor House/Finsbury Park) is looking to recruit a dedicated and reliable person to join the team on a permanent basis. The role offers a variety of different duties and responsibilities.
You will be physically fit and strong as your main role will be the manufacturing, tinting and packing of specialist paints. Lifting and moving heavy bags and drums is required as part of this process. You will be working independently and will also become proficient in the use of computerized tinting machines.
Other important duties will include weekly counting and recording of stock levels. You will also be booking in and checking raw material deliveries and packing and booking out finished goods. You will be responsible for the communication of these daily deliveries and stock checks to the office manager. Daily routines include fork lift driving, raw material handling, quality control testing, some general handyman-work and general warehouse duties including keeping the factory and warehouse clean and tidy at all times.
The successful candidate will be reliable, responsible, have a keen eye for detail and will take pride in producing high quality products.
Ideally the candidate has:
- a fork lift driving license and speaks fluent English
- computer literacy
- a sound level of basic numeracy
- normal colour vision
- a hard-working mentality and is able and happy to work on their own
- the ability to follow instructions closely
- is reliable and is well organized with attention to detail

Offered Conditions:
Salary: £17-21k p.a. Depending on experience and qualifications plus annual bonus scheme.
28 days holidays p.a.
Working hours: 8:30am-5:00pm Monday-Friday.
