Seven at Brixton and three eight four are sister bars both located in Brixton. We are looking for passionate people to join our team at both bars.
Each of our bars is different, but based on the same values;
Investing in our staff, and creating exciting food and drink products to bring to our customers in a friendly and relaxed atmoshere.
If you feel that a growing and forward thinking bar company is the right place for you to excel then keep reading!
Seven at Brixton opened in November ’11 and has been an integral part of the independent food and drink scene in Brixton ever since. Located in Brixton market, we are open every day from 9am-11.30pm. Coffees and brunch are served in the morning, and the relaxed afternoon then gives way to a fast paced and exciting bar atmosphere in the evening.
Our wines, Beers and tapas menu are all influenced by our love of Spanish food and drink and the relaxed atmosphere that goes with it. Our cocktails area a massive hit with our customers, and starting at £5 well worth the investment.
three eight four was then opened in July ’15. Not wanting to replicate our sister bar, we decided to branch out with our products. Beers come from as close as Gipsy Hill and as far as Laos. We have a fun and extended wine menu aimed at taking the pretentiousness out of wine. Like Seven, our food is designed for sharing, but the small plates take influence from all over the world.
We have a desire to bring in new products and flavours from around the world, but this does not compromise our policy to work with reputable, local suppliers as much as possible.
As proud as we are of our products and our venues, we recognise that the most important part of a service business, is the people that make it! We are always on the hunt for people that share our passion and so have a policy to always be recruiting.
We are looking for staff in all positions; bartenders, waiting staff, kitchen staff and bar support. Full time and part time positions are both available.
Successful applicants, can expect a full induction and training program. We also give our managers money every week for staff incentives and prizes. This can be in the form of a cash prizes, nights out or even in the past we have sent staff to Barcelona and Berlin.
We have a huge focus on internal development, with many of our managers and supervisors having started with us as bar staff.
If you are interested in applying please respond to the advert with a CV attached and answer the following questions:
- What position are you applying for?
- Do you have a preference of which bar you work for?
- Are you applying for full time or part time work?
- Tell us about the last time you experienced great customer service.
- If you were a super hero, which one would you be?
What our staff say about us:
"I started at Seven as a waitress working mostly evenings. After my manager realised my interest was in coffee, he moved me to daytimes and after 2 months I was able to handle the floor, bar and daytime service confidently.
Soon after I was promoted to Supervisor where I was shown cash handling procedures and daytime management and then 3 months after that I was promoted again to Assistant Manager. At every step of my development I felt challenged but found that the biggest advantage to working in an independent bar meant I had a good relationship with all of my colleagues including the directors. The expected standard was always clear and well communicated. After two years of being at Seven I was promoted to General Manager. I realised this is a company that invests time in people's progression and a company that wants to grow. We are always looking for new ideas and it is a very exciting bar to be a part of!"
