We are currently looking for an Assistant Manager for our brand new City of London site in The Leadenhall 'Cheesegrater' Building. The ideal candidates will be a customer and team focused leader who is fun, friendly, driven and forward thinking, with a keen eye for detail.
Duties will include:
Ensuring flawless customer service, being a calming, confident influence on your team.
Ensuring excellent quality and efficient service of our food and beverage offer.
Regularly reporting accurate sales data, costs and expenditure and working closely with your
General Manager to analyse and react to this information to grow sales and increase profitability.
Performance managing your team and give them the tools to develop through guidance and training.
A hands on, active approach to management and customer service.
Focussing on producing food safely in a clean environment, paying close attention to and surpassing minimum legal requirements for food safety and hygiene standards.
Understanding all aspects and pressures of the unit you are responsible for and delegating duties throughout your team to ensure the smooth day to day running of the business.
Adhering to the standards and ethos of Bel-Air to help drive the brand forward.
The ideal candidate will have:
At least one year’s management experience in a high volume food retail outlet or restaurant.
Proven leadership skills and the ability to solve problems and delegate calmly under pressure.
A good working knowledge of food business, KPIs such as turnover, product General Practitioner , and staff budgets.
The ability to see the bigger picture and to prioritise quickly and effectively.
A love of food and the desire to develop your knowledge to strengthen your team.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to coach, train, understand and inform your team and the individuals within it.
A fun, calm and positive demeanor.
Food Safety qualification, level two or higher.
