The Bolloré Group plays a leading role in sustainable development and in utilising renewable energy to tackle air pollution.
A subsidiary of Blue Solutions, Bluepointlondon Ltd has taken over the responsibility for the Source London electric vehicle charging network and Bluecity (UK) Ltd will operate an innovative one way car sharing service using 100% electric vehicles in London.
Through its division Blue Solutions, the Bolloré Group has developed and manufactured high performing electric batteries, electric cars and buses, energy storage devices and urban mobility solutions.
We are looking for an In-House General Counsel to join our fast growing team in London.

The role:
Reporting to the Group General Counsel based in France, you will be in charge of:

Drafting, negotiating and advising on a broad range of commercial matters (sponsorship, General terms and conditions for our B2C and B2B activities, car repairs, maintenance services ,.)
Dealing with all Legal Property (lease agreements), dealing with Real Estate issues with public and private partners;
The relationships with our insurance broker and insurance companies,
Collaborating to the drafting of complex contracts with public partners;
Ensuring the proper application of Data Protection Act,
Supporting the commercial Department in the creation of new offers to customers,
Monitoring the performance of construction contracts as contract manager,
Managing all general legal queries (Consumer claims, litigation and legal actions);
Managing the claim insurance manager

The candidate:
This position is a key role in our organization. More than a candidate, we are looking for a real partner, passionate and willing to play a significant role within the company.
In addition to a strong technical legal skills, you possess a strong business acumen and judgment, being able to effectively switch between the roles of legal advisor and business partner.
You are used to work autonomously as you will have control of your own work-load and have a high level of client contact.
You have experience of rigorous analysis of complex issues as well as proven delivery of pragmatic solutions to problems.
Moreover, you have demonstrated your ability to work cross-functionally and collaboratively with a wide level of stakeholders.
You are confidence in your ability to draft sui generis commercial contracts as our activities and services are innovative. As well, you are flexible, proactive and able to prioritize a demanding workload effectively.
Ideally, you will be at least c5-8 years PQE.
What else?
This is a permanent role.
The job will be based in Central London.
At the beginning of your contract, a training period of 2 weeks in Paris will be necessary.
