Our client based in Southall require a junior Import Export clerk for immediate start, the client deal with freight forwarding on behalf of their clients in China, therefore it is a requirement of this rolee that Chinese is a first language or a fluent second language. Duties:Responding to customer bookings and overseas agents requests Responding to customer enquiries professionally and promptly Ensuring that any special requirements or instruction are clearly specified Liaising with overseas branched and internal customers Liaise with all new and key customers on all queries and issues through regular contact by telephone Ensure accurate data is entered into systems Take all incoming calls from customers and all bookings using appropriate documentation Making regular contact with all key accounts by telephone. Developing relationships with the sales team and the operations team to share customer knowledge and provide support. Advice of delivery dates according to lead times Handling purchase invoices promptly and raising sales invoices accurately with agreed timescales. Computer literate The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years export/import or relevant customer service experience Knowledge of international freight forwarding desirable but not essential Please note:ONLY Chinese speaking candidates will be accepted for this role, anyone applying that does not meet this requirement will not be considered.
