Immigration Caseworker / Immigration Paralegal required in a law firm in Southall, Middlesex

THE ROLE
We are currently looking to recruit a competent Immigration Paralegal / Immigration Caseworker to join our well-established team. You will be expected to carry out various responsibilities including:
- Dealing with all aspects of Immigration Law including Visa Applications, Appeals, Asylum, EEA cases etc
- Assisting the Senior Solicitor with Immigration caseload
- Drafting letters and witness statements
- Liaising with courts, clients and other authorities
- Attending clients and assisting with cases
- Lodging applications
- Preforming legal research
- Other administrative tasks and administrative support
THE CANDIDATE
The successful candidate will:
- Have experience of working within a law firm;
- Have experience / knowledge of Immigration Law;
- experience of handling own Immigration caseload
- Be self-sufficient and highly motivated with excellent communication skills;
- Be able to communicate fluently in Hindi / Punjabi / Urdu languages;
- Be IT literate and able to use MS Word and Excel;
- Be highly organised and be able to manage a full workload;
- Be professional, personable and efficient
- Preferably be a Law graduate and/or completed LPC
SALARY OFFERED
Full Time: £16,000 per annum - £21,000 PA (depending on experience)
