Your responsibilities as an Illy Coffee Shop Manager will include:- Ensure the smooth running of the Illy Coffee Shop to the Park Plaza and Espressamente Illy standards.- Ensure guest satisfaction and food and beverage profitability by supervising the day to day operation of the department and its staff.- Deal with the administrative tasks such as rotas, time sheets, requisitions as required.- Generate new ideas for service and products that will maintain a competitive and leading edge over our Competitive set. We are looking for The ideal Illy Coffee Shop Manager will:- Have proven experience as coffee specialist- Have experience in new openings would be beneficial- Have management skills- Have experience within a high-street branded coffee shop- Be capable of preparing coffee to latte art standard- Have proven experience as coffee trainer / coach in previous job- Understanding of work related food hygiene / health and safety- Ability to inspire the team and drive quality of coffee service- Be passionate about exceeding guest expectations- Have experience in a high volume food and beverage department/outlet- Has a strong understanding of food and beverage service techniques- Have excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills and be able to connect with other live up to our mission statement: Inspiring our guests through individuality and passion! We offer Our people mean the world to us, and we only recruit the best.
