3. Nightjar is an intimate, all-seater venue with table service and live music seven nights a week, producing beautiful cocktails with unique ingredients, garnishes and presentations. We pride ourselves on world-leading hospitality, training and cocktails. We're seeking a General Manager to keep Nightjar at the top of the pile whilst bringing fresh ideas and energy to this very important role.
The role will be available from the end of July but we are looking to interview candidates from next week (commencing 19th June).

The candidate we are looking for will ideally have:
- at least 2 years working in a high level management position, preferably in a cocktail bar setting
- a good level of cocktail, spirit, wine and beer knowledge
- A familiarity with drinks industry trends, press and personalities
- A drive to constantly improve standards across the board
- Impeccable attention to detail
- An understanding of operations, from spreadsheets to basic plumbing and electronics.
- A track record of building and maintaining excellent teams, training and staff reward programs
- Ability to take initiative in swift, efficient and pro-active problem-solving
- A can-do attitude, with a willingness to quickly learn new skills and bring them to bear in management
- A strong work ethic
Familiarity with:
- Office Suite (especially Excel)
- Google Apps
- Xero accounting software
- basic accounting principles (e.g. P and Ls)
