We are looking for an ambitious, hardworking, committed Graphic Designer Intern to join our team at IbéRica Restaurants !
Based in our head office in London, you will be working hand in hand with our Head of Marketing and Digital Marketing Manager to create and design all marketing and restaurant materials, such as menus, flyers or brochures. Creativity, proactivity and an eye for detail are a must have for this position. If you love to work on fast paced environments and love food (even if not Spanish) we’d love to hear from you!
Duties:
*DESIGN
• Design all restaurant, stationary and promotional collateral including menus, recipe books, brochures, online invitations, packaging, presentation, etc.
• Create print final artworks and low-resolution versions of all designs as needed
• Design for online environment
• Adapt designs to digital formats to use online following online marketing best practices
• Providing creative input into innovative ideas and concepts
• Creating and/or drawing ideas, concepts and designs to present before for approval
• Proofreading to produce accurate and high-quality work
* ADMINISTRATION
• Keep all files organized and following process in cloud server
• Assist with controlling the restaurant printing budget
• Assist with coordination of photo/video shoots
• Communicate with printer to ensure correct files are uploaded to restaurants online accounts following process
• Assist Marketing Team on other offline marketing activities, such as PR, media relations and other marketing activities coordination
• Attend meetings to discuss strategy, briefs, objectives and requirements to enhance the brand
• Other marketing chores as needed
Skills
• Graduate in Graphic Design or similar
• English language required. Spanish as a second language preferred
• Expert in Adobe suite programs – InDesign, Illustrator and PhotoShop required
• HTLM skills preferred
• Orientation to detail is a must
• Food and drink, hospitality experience preferred. Being a food lover is a must
• Knowledge of Spanish food and/or Spain preferred
• Project management skills and capability of working independently to meet deadlines
• Office suite programs expert
• experience with working on Apple MAC
