The ideal candidate.
* Must come from a quality restaurant background.
* Be guest focused.
* Organised and highly professional.
* Proven experience in a same or similar role will be a plus.
* Flexible availability.
Your main duties.
* Welcome and check in of guest bookings and walk in guests during the restaurant opening times.
* Manage the restaurant reservations database, organization of parties and events (both in and outside the restaurant).
* Assist in establishing and maintaining excellent guest relationships.
* Handle guest and employee enquiries and problems in a professional and friendly manner.
* Assist with promotional and marketing related tasks.
You have.
* Excellent guest service skills.
* You are organized and computer literate
* Proven experience in a same or similar role will be a plus.
* Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English.
* Happy to work flexible hours and shifts in a busy and up-beat environment, you are able to handle some stress
* experience with working with Open Table is a plus.
