Human Resources Officer – The Role
At World Animal Protection our Human Resources and L and D team work hard to help employees develop and grow their careers from within the organisation. As Human Resources Officer you will work as part of the Global Human Resources team and deliver a proactive and flexible Human Resources service by providing relevant and appropriate L and D and Human Resources support to the organisation.
Working closely with the Learning and Development Manager you will provide support from Monday to Wednesday on everything L and D. This will include monitoring and updating the training budget, recording incoming training requests, supporting project delivery and organising centralised global training programs.
On Thursdays and Fridays, we will look to you to support the Human Resources team on general Human Resources and recruitment activities. This will include but not limited to, monitoring the Human Resources email inbox, assisting with interview scheduling, issuing contracts and helping with inductions. You will also track budgets, help with general Human Resources queries and maintain the Human Resources database.
This is a busy and exciting position for an organised administrator looking to widen their experience in human resources or learning and development.
Human Resources Officer – Requirements

Good at prioritising and have an eye for detail.
Well-developed communication, admin and PC skills.
Highly organised you will possess a ‘can-do’ attitude.
You will have initiative, able to think on your feet and deliver to tight deadlines.
experience organising events and managing travel will be an advantage.
experience using Share Point /Moodle and Frontier Human Resources database would be an advantage.
experience in a generalist Human Resources role and been involved in Human Resources administration will be an advantage.
Used to working with an Human Resources or any other comprehensive database.
