Job Description
Reports to the Care Manager
This job description is an overview of the main duties and responsibilities
Recruitment Role and Responsibility
• Manage the end to end recruitment process
• Build recruitment network and liaise with recruitment agencies etc
• Arrange and conduct recruitment days where required
• Attend Job Fairs as necessary
• Liaise with Care Co-coordinator and Care Manager to understand their recruitment
needs.
• Recruit staff including checking application forms, shortlisting, interviewing and
selecting candidates
• Set up and conduct interviews and issue relevant correspondence
• Maintain steady flow of quality candidates and remit suitable candidates
• Project a positive image when working with clients, representatives, external
bodies, team members and anyone coming into contact with Home Care
Preferred
• Assist with marketing duties relevant to recruitment including maintaining the
database and preparing job adverts
• Attend meetings with MD and Care Manager as required
Human Resources Role and Responsibility
• Main point of contact for all Human Resources related queries
• Co-ordinate the appointment process for successful applicants
• Assist with induction of new team members in relation to paper work
• Administer Human Resources related documentation, including contracts of employment
• Perform DBS checks
• Obtain and check references
• Ensure Human Resources database is up to date, accurate and complies with legislation
• Maintain team member files and store securely all company and legal paperwork
in accordance with data protection policy
• Arrange annual appraisals, end of probations and supervisions
• Dealing with grievances and implementing disciplinary procedures
• Implement policies on performance management and absence management
• Conduct and maintain Human Resources audits and archiving
• Review and maintain Human Resources and Recruitment policies and procedures
• Be pro-active and find effective ways to deal with issues
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of Human Resources systems and practices.
