We now have a great opportunity for an Human Resources Advisor based in our Head Office in Forest Hill. The role will provide generalist support to the Head of Human Resources and Training, operations team and pub managers. As an Human Resources Advisor, you will provide expert Human Resources advice and support to people managers on our policies and best practice, and guide them in the evaluation of risks, options and outcomes. You will also support our managers in recruitment and selection process and manage part of the administrational duties.
Main responsibilities will include:
• Being first point of contact for Human Resources queries
• Working closely with the Head of Human Resources and Training to monitor, review and update all policies in line with current legislation and best practice
• Providing an advisory service to managers and employees on all Human Resources related matters
• Managing staff relationships, promptly responding to queries and managing expectations
• Ensuring Human Resources matters are handled fairly and consistently in line with legal and company requirements
• Supporting the Head of Human Resources and Training with grievance, disciplinary and capability investigations and hearings
• Supporting and helping to develop recruitment campaigns
• Working in partnership with line managers on performance management, employee relations, resourcing and staff management/development.
• Writing and updating job descriptions
• Providing Human Resources Admin support
An ideal candidate will:
• Hold a CIPD qualification (at least Level 5)
• Have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
• Be fluent in English
• Ideally come from hospitality background
• Have a thorough knowledge of employment law
• Have experience in dealing with ER issues
