Human Resources Administrator Apprentice

An opportunity has arisen for an Apprentice Human Resources Administrator to join our busy People team based in central London. You will be assisting the People team and employees by providing top class administrative Human Resources support and ensuring our Human Resources data is accurate.

Entry requirements:
Strong academic qualifications and an interest in Human Resources. Minimum grade C-A* in five GCSE, including Maths and English (or Functional Skills level 2 in both). You will also have good knowledge of IT including all Microsoft packages. Ideally, we are looking for recent school leavers and non-graduates for the role.
Outline:
Training and qualification: Business Administrator Advanced apprenticeship.
Location: nearest stations are St Paul’s and Bank underground, London
The role will be varied and challenging, the essence of the role is be the administrative contact for areas of the employee life cycle, for example:
1. Employee letters in relation to any salary changes, bonus payments, benefit adjustments, Leaver letters and then updating all relevant systems in a timely manner
2. Employee benefit administration – adding new joiners, removing leavers
3. Input, update and maintain employee records within the Human Resources system
4. Managing new starter and Leaver processes – owning the Joiner mover Leaver (JML) process, liaising with new starters before they join, ensuring all paperwork is returned on time and employee files are up to date and all employee data stored correctly, ensuring all new starter training completed on time
5. Supporting Human Resources Advisor with the monthly payroll process
6. Taking notes in ER meetings
7. Providing reference letters on request and supporting the Human Resources Advisor with the Tier 2 visa process

Personal Qualities:
1. As an apprentice, no formal experience required but a desire to work in Human Resources.
2. A keen interest in systems would be an advantage.
