We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated, customer focused Housekeeping Supervisor to join our Housekeeping team. You must have previous experience in a Hotel/Club Housekeeping, including supervisory and/or team leadership. You must have excellent supervisory and organisational skills and be a strong, customer focused leader. Substantial knowledge of all housekeeping, cleaning, laundry, and hotel/guest bedroom services, practises and procedures is essential. A demonstrable focus upon customer care is essential as well as Fluent English.

The key duties of Housekeeping Supervisors are:
A.To ensure that their team of Housekeeping Assistants are supplied with the necessary cleaning materials, equipment and protective clothing to enable them to carry out their daily tasks.
B.To supervise the daily cleaning of bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.
C.To carry out a systematic inspection of all bedrooms under their supervision and to complete an inventory report for submission to the Head Housekeeper.
D.To ensure that window cleaning, carpet cleaning and other contracted cleaning is carried out to a satisfactory standard.
E.To ensure that floors and stairways are kept clear of rubbish, crockery, trays etc.
F.To cover or assist the Head Housekeeper/Deputy Head Housekeeper in any day-to-day requirements as necessary.
G.To cover or assist with Housekeeping Assistant duties when there are staff shortages due to holidays, sickness etc.
H.To identify and report all hazards and maintenance requirements in the work place.
I. To ensure that their teams adopt safe working practices to comply with The Health and Safety at Work Act and COSHH Regulations (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health).

Causal contract (up to 40 hours per week)
£9.61 Per hour
