BMI Healthcare’s Chelsfield Park Hospital in Orpington has a vacancy for a Housekeeping Assistant (Bank) to join our team of staff in the Hospital Support Services department.
This is a bank role working on an “as and when required” basis, you will be required to supplement staffing levels during busy periods and provide cover for existing staff in times of annual leave or absence.
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
• General secondary education.
• Good communication skills
Duties of this role include:
• To support the Housekeeping Supervisor and team in providing an efficient and cost effective housekeeping and linen service, maintaining a clean and hygienic environment on an ad-hoc basis.
• To clean carpets as required.
• To ensure that hospital linen stocks are correctly used and maintained in a clean and tidy manner..
• To ensure that any customer complaints are dealt with promptly and that the Housekeeping Supervisor kept informed of outcomes.
• To carry out duties and maintain working environment in keeping with all legislative and hospital requirements
