We are a friendly but demanding family looking for an outstanding part-time housekeeper to take care of our 5-bedroom house, starting Monday 18th September this year.
Hours are 8am-12 noon, Monday to Friday. There will be a 1-week handover period with our current housekeeper.
This is not simply a cleaning role - this is strictly a housekeeping job; you will be responsible for everything being clean, organised and put away in the correct place.
You will be responsible for:
All laundry and ironing, including the care of some fine fabrics
All cleaning and tidying
Putting away clothes
Disposing of rubbish in the correct recycling container
Spring cleans, deep cleans and keeping cupboards and wardrobes tidy
Unpacking from holidays
Small clothing mending such as sewing on buttons
Keeping all the children’ Toys organised
Receiving and unpacking shopping deliveries
Occasionally running errands to get dry cleaning etc.
You MUST:
Have excellent references in a similar role in either a large private house or hotel in London.
Have a friendly and positive attitude
Have good spoken and written English
Be a non-smoker
Be able to work in this country legally
