A young and friendly family in Hackney are looking for a housekeeper / nanny to help them with the general running of their 4-bedroom house and some childcare.
They are a family of 3, 1 son (3.5 years ) and a new baby due in March.
In the morning, you would need to perform usual housekeeping duties, including cleaning, ironing and laundry. You might sometimes need to take the child to nursery, which is a short walk away, for 8:45am.
You will also occasionally need to mind the child, but the mother is usually there.
The family would like you to return to the house at around 5pm to help with the child, finish duties, and then tidy up after their dinner (which is at 5:30pm) so that the parents can bath their son, put him to bed and then relax.
Cooking and driving not necessary.

Hours:                  7am – 10am and 5pm -7pm, Monday to Friday (25 h/week)
Location:              Hackney
Salary:                  £12ph (or £15ph if self-employed)
Start Date:            as soon as possible.
Interviewing:        as soon as possible

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

Cleaning, ironing, laundry
Occasional walking the child to nursery
Occasional food shopping
Trips to post office / dry cleaners if needed.
Keep kitchen cupboards clean and tidy, ensure stuff in fridge is in date etc.

Good level of English
