Live in Housekeeper / Carer/ Companion for 72 year old woman in Central London
We are looking for a carer to complete our care team to work 1 week on/3 weeks off OR 2 weeks on/2 weeks off. PLEASE SPECIFY WHICH YOU ARE APPLYING FOR WHEN YOU RESPOND TO THIS AD.
We are looking for a patient, hard working, caring person to be employed as a housekeeper/ carer/companion for a 72 year old woman in Central London. The role would best suit someone with previous experience of live in care on rotation who can commit to a long period of employment. experience with Alzheimer's dementia highly desirable.
** please note: a clean driver's license and plenty of experience driving in London is essential for this position*

Responsibilities would include:
Keeping the house clean and tidy, doing laundry and dealing with rubbish.
Going to the grocery store to get food.
Carrying out some errands in the local area
Cooking healthy and tasty meals
Supporting and organizing social activity
Some caring responsibilities as and when required (There are currently no personal care requirements and no waking nights)
Administering medication
Keeping the house running: changing lightbulbs, calling plumbers, a small amount of simple administration
Ability to be highly patient and approach each and every task with a smile
Effective communication with family members by telephone, email, Skype and Whatsapp
Communicating with doctors during medical visits and liaising with family around medical needs
Clean driving license is essential
The ideal candidate will have a great sense of humor, fun, adventure, creativity, a good deal of patience, be a highly effective communicator, and have a demonstrable track record for long term working relationship.
