Part time housekeeper, cook and personal assistant in Wimbledon
Occasional nanny (a 2 year old boy)
Flexible hours. Permanent position including benefits.
Housekeeping and cleaning role - (allergy prone family):
* Tidying, dusting and cleaning of the house and dependencies
* Airing the house, managing air purifiers / dehumidifier
* Making beds, change, clean and iron bed linen
* Manage and clean fridges/ freezers and pantry - ensure food don't become out of date
* Laundry and ironing - including delicates hand wash
* Wardrobe management (folding clothes, tidying and organising each family member's wardrobes – putting aside small children clothes)
* Collect mail, deliveries and answering the door (dealing with tradesmen, contractors, etc.)
* Running errand: dry-cleaner, posting mail, occasional shopping, etc.
* Watering household plants and flowers
* Keeping patios, pathways and steps clean and tidy
* Internal window cleaning
* Seasonal deep cleans (empty out all cupboard/ wardrobes/ bookshelves, throwing out of date products and empties, clean cupboard/ wardrobes/ bookshelves, air-vents etc.)
* Arranging for occasional services (external window cleaning, Gutter clearance, gardening, small repairs, etc.)
* Schedule, log and execute alarm testing (fire and carbon monoxide)
* Create and manage a “household book”
* Any other task we may reasonably ask
Cooking role:
* Review food available and near use by date and suggest meals
* Preparing evening meals to minimise cooking time for the family
Occasional nanny:
* Collect child from nursery in exceptional cases (parents are held up / child collection required by nursery)
* Look after our son if he’s unable to attend nursery
About us:
Professional family with a 2 year old boy who needs help with the day to day running of the house. We keep in touch with Whats App to give instructions. Bilingual French and English.
Requirements:
* Experienced with housekeeper, cook and childcare
* Highly organised, self-sufficient, meticulous, trustworthy
* Full driving licence (you will have access to a car)
* References will be required and background check performed
* DBS check (childcare) will be required
Position, working hours, salary and benefits:
* Permanent position (live-out)
* Gross annual salary of £8,000 -10,000 depending on experience + extra hours if applicable
* Benefits available such as pension, trainings, childcare vouchers, interest-free loans for seasonal tickets, cycle to work etc.
* Working hours: 4 hours per day to be agreed – flexible working possible as long as 20 weekly hours are performed.
