Looking for a housekeeper to help manage 2 flats in Central London for Airbnb rentals.
The apartments are rented out per room with shared bathrooms and kitchens; the shared areas are to be cleaned daily and anywhere between 1 and 6 rooms have to be prepared for incoming guests (however from experience it’s rarely more than 3 rooms a day).
The applicant preferably would have some experience in hospitality as well as cleaning and must be able to communicate with guests and welcome them confidently.
Similarly the applicant must be able to communicate with me fully and confidently and let me know any problems they or the guests may have so I can solve them immediately.
Duties include:
Welcoming / checking in guests,
Changing bed sheets,
Cleaning surfaces,
Ironing Pillow cases,
Hoovering and mopping,
Washing dishes,
Managing Laundry with occasional trips to Launderette,
Daily cleaning of 2 Bathrooms and 2 Kitchens to a high standard,
Dropping keys in key safe when necessary,
Making sure cleaning products are fully stocked,
Liaising with Landlord when I’m not around.
I will need you on site from 11am everyday, on average the day is around 2.5 hours maximum. However in order to let guests in later in the day I will either need you to wait around after you have finished cleaning or perhaps start a little later some days. Similarly I may need you to go in a cab to a nearby launderette and back a day a week.
Pay is £30 a day standard and I pay £12 an hour on top if you go over 2.5 hours. The cleaning itself shouldn’t take longer than that.
I'll pay weekly on Monday or Tuesday.
I will need you 5 days a week including one weekend day.
