This is a great job for an experienced Housekeeper to work on a Rota with other housekeeping staff - you will be working 3 days on and then have 3 days off. On your working days you will need to live in and then go back to your own home for the three days off. The house is situated on the borders of London and Surrey and is only 30 minutes direct journey on the train from Central London. They have a driver who will pick you up from the station and take you back again when you go home.
You will be working as part of a team of housekeepers for a very friendly family. They have three children, 7 and 9 who have their own nannies and an 18 year old. The family also have 2 dogs, 2 cats - you do not need to do any looking after of the pets.
The job will be for someone who takes pride in their housekeeping work and enjoys keeping a beautiful home clean and well presented. You should have knowledge of how to present a home to 5* hotel standards, how to clean special surfaces and fine furnishings, antiques etc. Your role will also be to set the table for meals, some wardrobe management, answer to door to visitors, make up guest rooms, and anything else that needs to be done to make sure that the house is presented beautifully at all times. The family employ someone to do the laundry so there is very little washing and ironing with this job. There is also no cooking with this role as the family have a private chef.
It is essential that you have worked as a housekeeper in an executive style household for at least 3 years with suitable references. You will need to speak good English, be happy to use your own initiative while also working as part of a team.
Salary will be £500 net per week - you will receive this every week regardless of how many days you have worked.
