The House Manager’s role is to ensure the smooth running, general upkeep, maintenance, care and service of the Principal’s main residence to the highest standard with all health and safety practices implemented and to provide day-to-day support and assistance to the Principals and their family.
This is a hands on role which requires a flexible, can do attitude. You will be the driver, Houseman, handyman, gardener, dog sitter, housekeeper and will have an eye for security matters.
You need to be pet friendly and it is extremely important that the House Manager is able to multi task and has a good rapport with adults and young children alike.
This will be a rewarding role for the right candidate to work for a friendly family and key to being successful will be the ability to multi task and ‘Muck in’ where required.
Key Skills Required:
• experience in a similar role
• Good English Language skills
• Confident driver with full UK driving license
• Excellent Chauffeur experience driving luxury vehicles in UK
• Excellent initiative and can do attitude
• High degree of flexibility and level of service is absolutely essential
• Dress smartly and respectably at all times
• Good practical DIY skills
• Pleasant and personable personality
• Excellent time management
• Honest with a good attitude
• Be anticipatory, friendly but not familiar
• Efficient and well organised
• Communicate efficiently and be discreet
• Understand privacy and confidentiality, being invisible yet available
• Non-smoker
• In good health
• Excellent contactable references
• Clean DBS check (or willing to undertake one)
