We are looking for a Hotel Porter/Luggage Porter to join our established team. Working in a shift pattern, 5 days working each week with 2 days off. The starting salary is at £9.38 per hour, it is a full-time (37.5 hours) and permanent role with 20 holidays plus bank holidays -- and we give you your birthday off!

Our small boutique properties deliver the highest standards of accommodation and service. You should have excellent customer service skills, dedication to your work and the desire to go the extra distance to ensure that standards are maintained and guest expectations are surpassed.

Applicants must be eligible to work in the UK on a permanent full time basis and must have fluent written and spoken English.
Whist we don't insist on hotel experience, please only apply if you have had some customer service experience and can demonstrate that you will fit nicely into our team.
The position
As Hotel Porter you will be required to carry out a range of tasks including:
- Welcoming guests to the hotel and dealing with their requirements and requests throughout their stay.
- Answering the phone.
- Responding to guest enquiries
- Rooming our guests and assisting with luggage.
- Entering reservations into the computer system.
- Servicing conference rooms
- Assisting the housekeeping department with the cleaning and maintenance of the hotel.
