Ski France is the UK sales branch and brand for the French hotel-resort group Madame Vacances.
With 26 years of experience, Madame Vacances by Eurogroup, maintains an undeniable presence in the French Hotel and Tourism industry (3rd biggest provider in France) with an annual turnover of 85 million Euros. The Hotel Le Mottaret was the first Hotel run by Madame Vacances. Initially consisting of 42 bedrooms, 20 were added on in 2021 making a total capacity of 62 bedrooms. The Hotel has been renovated new for this year’s 2021 season, with all bathrooms and a selection of bedrooms renovated. The Hotel also boasts an outside Jacuzzi, an inviting bar and lounge area complete with roaring fire as well as ski-in ski-out facilities. There are around 30 members of staff to manage.
Job description
• Supervising the operational and administrative sides of Hotel departments (Reception, Food and Beverage, Housekeeping, Kitchen)
• Managing the Human Resources administration for a team of 30 members of staff
• Coordinate marketing promotions
• Represent and demonstrate the values of Madame Vacances and the Hotel by promoting a good image of the brand to all
• Maintain a good rapport and create partnerships among those in resort
• Be flexible and capable on a variety of tasks
• Welcome and ensure customer satisfaction for VIP guests and important partners
• Ensure that Hygiene and Safety rules are applied
• Respect the pre-established procedures applied by the company
Profile
• Manager of an establishment with essential, similar, experience in a hotel, who will know a little about the Restaurant sector too
• Somebody who desires to manage a hotel in a professional manner, in accordance with the company’s way of doing things
• Strong capabilities and flexibility in a number of roles in order respond to the needs of our guests
• Loyal, smiling, welcoming and available
General Information
• Seasonal Contract terminating at the end of the 2021-2022 winter season
• 39 hours per week
• Monthly salary 1900€ - 3000€ Gross per month (bonus included)

Our hotels Hotel le Mottaret*** and Hotel Ibiza*** respectively situated in Meribel and Les Deux Alpes, we are looking for a Restaurant Manager who will manage the restaurant side of the Hotel and the teams that work within it.
TASKS
• Manage the restaurant hall which serves between 40 to 100 people with a team of 5-6 people made up of waiters, barmen and some interns at times during the year
• Maintain a close and efficient relationship with the kitchen staff
• Control the stocks and purchases from suppliers with the kitchen Chef
• Apply and ensure rules concerning hygiene, security and quality control procedures are followed
• Provide an outstanding customer service and dining experience at all times:
- Breakfast buffet from 7am to 10am
- Lunch buffet for those guests on All Inclusive
- Evening dinner service
• Manage the till, stocks, staff rotas and Guests’ well-being and complaints, should any arise
• Check signs respect current legislation and hygiene rules
• Manage “room service” requests, communicating with the Housekeeping Team at all times
• Be attentive to an essentially international clientele, the majority of who board on Half-Board
• Train and motivate your staff in their work and in the company’s spirit
PROFILE
The ideal candidate will possess all of the following qualities:
• Strong experience working in the restaurant sector and managing a team
• Good spoken English
• A commercial understanding. Customer contact with the Restaurant Manager helps to strengthen customer relations and loyalty. Never refuse a guest, no matter the hour. Always find a solution to their wishes.
• Flexible and available
• An open, team-orientated nature with an understanding for the importance of quality customer service where the “Guest is always right”.
• Dynamic, meticulous and neat
UNIFORM
Strict Uniform standards are observed (dark coloured trousers – no jeans- and a light coloured shirt)

GENERAL INFORMATION
Seasonal Contract from 6th December 2021 until 21st April 2022
39 hours per week
2200€ (approximately £1963) Gross per month (bonus and financial compensation included)
Monthly bonuses available
