The hotel is a listed building with extensive grounds. Position involves painting, basic carpentry, basic plumbing, minor electrical repairs, and carrying out preventative maintenance tasks. The applicant will be responsible for updating maintenance records and carrying out fire and Health and Safety checks. Understanding of Health and Safety is essential. Arranging other suppliers, assisting Head Gardener and purchasing are other aspects of the role.
A comprehensive knowledge of spoken and written English is required, along with experience in this field, a basic understanding of electrical, plumbing and fire systems, and a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Hours: 8am to 2pm Monday to Friday.
