We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as Maintenance Engineer/Handyman.
We are a busy boutique 4 star hotel in the Bayswater/Paddington. With 70 Bedrooms we offer guests personal caring service that compliments or recently refurbished rooms.
As Maintenance Engineer/Handyman, you will be responsible with Housekeeping for ensuring that our Hotel is fresh, well presented and maintained, must perform the following tasks to the highest standards:
• Manage the Painting of the bedrooms and public areas
• Re grout and silicon the bathrooms
• Complete minor repairs
• Work with the housekeeping team to prevent breakages and blockages
• Purchase the right materials at the right price
• Work with contractors for larger jobs.
• Maintain good communication and working relationships with all hotel departments
The role will offer the right candidate the opportunity permanent full time work. The successful applicant will have worked in related areas in the past.
We will be paying a basic salary of £9 per hour. There will be plenty of overtime available.
